Postcard Art Competition 2024

Whether you are an artist, amateur or professional or just a doodler here is your chance to create an original artwork while raising money for local charities. You may even win a prize.

You can utilise any art technique or style such as drawing, painting, graphic design or material as long as entries are A6 postcard sized and the subject is based on your experience of the South Ribble area.

There will be an exhibition where all the postcard artworks will be for sale at a flat fee of £10.

100% of the proceeds will go to the Mayor of South Ribble Charitable Fund and Rotary Charities.


How to enter

All entries must be submitted to South Ribble Borough Council at the Civic Centre West Paddock Leyland PR25 1DH by post or by hand.  All artworks must be postcard sized (A6) and no larger.

Competition Rules 

1. All artworks must be postcard sized (A6) and no larger. Artworks can have relief work but canvas/board/paper must not exceed A6 size.

2. Artists are permitted to submit up to 3 entries.

3. All entries must be submitted to South Ribble Borough Council at the Civic Centre West Paddock Leyland PR25 1DH by post or by hand.

4. The Rotary Club of South Ribble and South Ribble Borough Council have the right to sell all postcard artworks at a standard fee of £10.

5. Unsold artworks will not be returned unless a prepaid envelope is provided with the submission.

6.The Rotary Club of South Ribble and South Ribble Borough Council are not responsible for any damage of artwork or loss of artwork in the post or transit.

7. Any artwork considered likely to cause public offence will not be accepted.
