Replacement bins and containers are charged at £30 per bin and £10 per box.

New properties or developments
South Ribble Borough Council charges for the provision and delivery of waste collection containers to newly-built properties.
A fee of £100 per property is due at the property numbering request stage his charge is made to the developer. The containers will be delivered when requested by the occupants.
If the development is a multi-occupancy property, the fee will remain at £100 per unit. However a site visit will be made and bin provision may be in the form of larger communal bins.
We issue the following containers:
- Grey bin - non-recyclable waste
- Blue bin - glass, cans, plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays
- Green box - paper and card
- Brown bin - garden waste only (subscription service)
If the developer chooses not to pay the fee then this charge will be passed onto the occupant.
Delivery
We aim to deliver new bins and boxes within 5 working days, however it can take up to 10 working days in busier periods.
They will be dropped off within the boundary of your property, if access is available, or next to the most appropriate door. A delivery note will be posted through your letterbox.
Cancellation
You can cancel a request for a new bin or container within 14 days of making the payment by e-mail, letter or fax.
